Mothers and Children
In February 2009, Life Plus opened a health care facility, a clinic to provide basic health care services including a maternity unit specialising in delivery. It took 2 years to build at a cost of £25,000. The clinic is managed and run by a senior midwife with 2 assistants. This health clinic is serving local people from 10 villages where 100s of babies have been delivered within the maternity unit and many more at patients own homes through home service.
Life Plus is a very small but highly dedicated charity organisation working hard create a self-help environment where those who are less fortunate can have the tools, knowledge and skill sets to help themselves.
