Our journey has always been modest and projects small to start off with which is why we helped build a small primary school in Pachim Omrita Primary Bahubol, Habiganj Bangladesh in 2009 There was no school for 100s of small children hence why we got involved and with the support of Al Mustafa Trust International we help establish a small tin-shed school with just 50 kids, today this school gas over 150 students.
This school is staffed by 3 local teachers on a salary of just £25 a month which is not a real salary by any standard but they are persevering to ensure these kids get some form of basic education, efforts are underway to have the school to be funded by the government.
Here is a picture of Shafi with the village elders and management committe who made this school possible. On the very place where the school stands used to be a hut that used to be a "school" but it was swept away by the flood ghence why Shafi took interest to help rebuilt a better one i n its place, photo taken sometime in 2009.
